BARD Fellowships in Agriculture

* Vaadia-BARD Postdoctoral Fellowship Program: Promotes cooperative agricultural research between postdoctoral fellows from one country (US or Israel) and established scientists from the other. Recipients will travel to the host country to carry out their research. Award duration: One year; successful applicants, with the agreement of their mentor, become eligible for a 2nd year of funding wherein the funding is shared on a matching basis between BARD and the host lab. Funding: $37,000 including travel expenses + $8,000 dependent allowance.
* Senior Research Fellowship Program: To promote cooperative agricultural research between established scientists from the US and hosts from Israel. Award duration: 2-12 months. Funding: $3,000/month + a onetime allocation of $2,000 for travel.
* BARD Graduate Student Fellowship: To enable Ph.D. students in one country (US or Israel) to travel to the other country in order to acquire new skills and techniques in their field of study. Award period: 3-6 months. Funding: $1500/month + $2000 to cover travel costs.
