BSF-NSF: Joint Program in Ocean Sciences

This program will accept collaborative research proposals in the following areas: physical oceanography, chemical oceanography, biological oceanography, and marine geology and geophysics. The proposed research does not have to be in the Eastern Mediterranean or Gulf of Eilat/Aqaba, and can be in any marine environment around the world. Prior to submission, the US applicant should contact the appropriate NSF program manager to discuss the research focus on his/her international project. Funding is up to $100,000 per year for a maximum of three years.
