Aim: developing treatments and cures for the inherited orphan retinal degenerative diseases and dry age-related macular degeneration (dAMD). FFB does not support research for neovascular AMD or diabetic retinopathy. Priority areas include: Novel Medical Therapies, Gene Therapy, Cell and Molecular Mechanisms of Retinal Disease, Genetics, Clinical-Structure and Function, Regenerative Medicine. Funding: up to $100K/year for up to 3 years.
