National PKU Alliance – Research Project & Post-doctoral Fellowship

* Research Project: The NPKUA is seeking proposals for pre-clinical, translational, and clinical research projects that investigate all aspects of PKU. The purpose of these awards is: to promote and encourage PKU-related research in young investigators; to generate preliminary data for innovative topics; and to further support existing PKU-related projects. Applicants may request up to $40,000 for one year with potential for a second year renewal based on availability of funds and progress made during first year. Applicants are encouraged to use the funding to support innovative seed or pilot projects to produce preliminary data that would facilitate more substantial funding from federal agencies, foundations or corporations.
* Post-doctoral Fellowship: post-doctoral fellowships in pre-clinical, translational, and clinical research projects that investigate all aspects of PKU. The purpose of these awards is: to promote and encourage PKU-related research in young investigators; to generate preliminary data for innovative topics; and to further support existing PKU-related projects.
