Autism Speaks: Meixner Postdoctoral Fellowship in Translational Research

Projects must have the fundamental translational research aim of accelerating the conversion of basic scientific discoveries into novel and more effective methods or products used to diagnose, prevent, or treat ASD. The results should have the potential to lead to or facilitate preclinical or clinical trials to improve outcomes for people with ASD. Trainees are required to have a primary mentor (i.e., the principal investigator with whom they directly carry out their research), and one or two secondary mentors that enable and expand their training and mentoring experiences into complementary disciplines. 3. Preclinical Target Validation
4. Experimental TherapeuticsFellowship is for 2 years. Stipend level will be determined by the number of years of postdoctoral experience at the time of the award to a maximum of $63,700 per year in addition of $10,500 annual allowance.
