The program is intended to support both applied (preclinical) research and clinical trials addressing the prevention and treatment of military-relevant psychological health issues. Topic areas include: grief, guilt, loss, moral injury or anger issues; prevention and life-skills training strategies to improve brain health; psychosocial/psychological health challenges unique to persons of non-traditional sexual orientation; and sexual assault and trauma related issues Funding: Applied Research: up to $1.5 million, Clinical trials: up to $3 million. Duration: up to 3 yrs.
