Barth Syndrome Foundation: 2014 Request for Research Proposals – Letter of Intent

Funding for basic science and clinical research on the natural history, biochemical basis and treatment of Barth syndrome. There are two categories: IDEA grants for 1-2 years, $50,000 max, letter of intent is optional for IDEA grant applicants; and DEVELOPMENT grants for 2-3 years with max $100,000.

RFA-BSF-01--Depression in Barth Syndrome
To conduct assessments of possible depression, possible level of disability, health-related quality of life, risk-taking behaviors, eating patterns and eating attitudes, and coping mechanisms in a targeted population of Barth syndrome individuals.
