Target Validation Program Spring 2015 Review Cycle - Pre-Proposal
The Target Validation program supports work to determine whether manipulation of a defined biological target provides a disease-relevant beneficial outcome in a whole animal, mammalian model of PD. MJFF does not have any pre-conceived preferences for particular targets submitted to the Target Validation program. Funding: up to $250K over 2 years.

Therapeutic Pipeline Program (stage 1 proposal)
The Therapeutic Pipeline Program supports PD therapeutic development along the entire preclinical and clinical path. Proposals may seek support of key steps along the entire therapeutic pipeline. Although MJFF is open to any creative therapeutic strategy, ideal applications should focus on: strategies that protect or restore degenerating and/or dysfunctional neurons affected in PD, strategies to alleviate disabling motor and non-motor symptoms of PD and strategies to alleviate complications of PD treatment including dyskinesias and other disabling side effects. MJFF will commit up to $10 million to the Therapeutic Pipeline Program with the intention to support multiple awards. There is no set budget limit for proposals and applicants may request up to 2 years of funding for preclinical development or up to 3 years of funding for clinical development.
