Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT): Combatting Neglected Tropical Diseases - Intent to Apply

GHIT facilitates and funds partnerships between Japanese and non-Japanese organizations.
Funding opportunity for the development of new medicines, vaccines, or diagnostics for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) that are prevalent in the developing world. Proposed projects should address exclusively the needs listed in the full RFP for the following diseases: Onchocerciasis, Lymphatic filariasis, Schistosomiasis, Leishmaniasis, Leprosy, Chagas, Human African Trypanosomiasis, Soil-Transmitted Helminths and Trachoma. The proposed collaboration project may include R&D activities from pre-clinical research (post-lead optimization) through licensure. The GHIT does not specify maximum funding.
