Society for Neuroscience (SFN) - Outstanding Research and Career Achievements Awards

The awards, in amount of $25K each, are presented to scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the field through research and other scientific achievements. If one or more of the following statements apply, you may be eligible for an award:
You have made significant contributions to neuroscience throughout your career.
You have made noteworthy advances in theoretical and computational neuroscience or neuropharmacology.
You have conducted or plan to conduct research in the area of substance abuse and the brain or nervous system.
You have mentored other neuroscientists or neuroscience students.
Julius Axelrod Prize: for a scientist with distinguished achievements in neuropharmacology (or a related area) and exemplary efforts in mentoring young scientists.
Ralph W. Gerard Prize: for an outstanding scientist who has made significant contributions to neuroscience.
Swartz Prize for Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience: for individuals who, over a period of time, have made significant contributions or advances in theoretical and computational neuroscience.
Jacob P. Waletzky Award: for a scientist who has conducted research or plans to conduct research in the area of substance abuse and the brain and nervous system.
