International Outgoing Fellowships for Career Development (IOF)

This action aims to reinforce the international dimension of the career of European researchers by giving them the opportunity to be trained and acquire new knowledge in a third country (outside Europe, e.g. .US) high-level research organisation.
The research topic will be chosen by the researcher in collaboration with the Outgoing host and is open to all fields of research.
Subsequently, these researchers will return with the acquired knowledge and experience to the Technion (or other European Institute).

Eligibility:
At the call deadline the research should have completed all the requirements for their doctorate or have 4 years of full time research experience from the completion of the degree which would formally entitle them to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided.
Researchers should not have been in the country of the Host institution for more than 12 months at the time of the deadline
