American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM): Ultrasound versus Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

A request for applications to investigate the clinical effectiveness of ultrasound versus magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for joints or soft tissue pathology using an independent gold standard, either clinical or surgical. Preference will be given to studies other than those addressing rotator cuff tears. $50,000 has been allocated for one or more grants, project should be up to 2 year long.
