Haruv Institute: Post Doctoral Fellowships - Letter of Intent

The Haruv Institute will support applicants who choose to focus their research on children and youth at risk- aspects of physical, mental and sexual abuse and different aspects of negligence. Applicants need not be previously specialized in children in risk fields and could be from Social sciences, Humanities, Medicine, Nursing and Public Health, Social services and Law. Applicants must have a doctoral degree received after 1/10/11 and no later than 1/5/14. Fellowship start is 1/8 -1/10. The fellowship is 38,000$ for 1 year plus travel expenses and will be conducted in one of the partner institutes: Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse & Neglect School of Medicine, University of Colorado; Child Welfare Research Center, School of Social Work University of Maryland; Center for Healthy Development, Georgia State University.
