Cardinal Health Foundation: Effectiveness, Efficiency and Excellence in Healthcare Grants (E3 Program)

Cardinal Health develops and supports programs that help healthcare providers implement best practices that can truly transform patient care. Approximately 25 grants will be awarded, ranging between $7,500 and $35,000.
Focus areas include:
- Medication safety across transitions of care from the acute setting to the community/home.
- Operating room efficiency. Testing the AORN protocol to assess risk and implement changes to reduce pressure ulcers in the operating room.
- Implementing protocols to improve infant outcomes for babies born addicted to opiates using a protocol developed by Ohio children's hospitals.
