AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety: Cannabis and Driving – Pre-Proposals

Call for research on a variety of topics addressing the relationship between acute cannabis use and driving impairment or crash risk using innovative research methods or data. A range of research approaches are of interest, including but not limited to: epidemiologic studies, naturalistic studies, health services, and intervention studies. Research should focus on acute cannabis use within 4 hours of driving. Proposals for self-report surveys will not be funded.
Funding: up to $250,000 over the whole duration of the research.
An American collaboration is highly recommended for this fund.
