Two grants in amount of 40,000 NIS each, will be awarded for research or survey of the effect environmental pollution has on diabetes and obesity. Proposals should try to connect, directly or indirectly between environmental exposure to the increasing occurrence of weight gain, diabetes and aspects of the metabolic syndrome in humans or experimental animals.
