Melanoma Research Alliance: Young Investigator Award

Investigators within 4 years of first academic appointment are welcomed to apply with innovative, transitional research projects in prevention, treatment and diagnosis/staging of melanoma. This year particular areas of interest: Novel combination therapies (immunotherapy); Resistance mechanisms to BRAF/MEK combination targeted therapy; Identifying biomarkers predictive of clinical outcomes to treatment regimens; Improving the understanding of the biological basis for melanoma formation. Funding: up to $75,000 per year for 3 years. A senior investigator at the same institution must be designated as a mentor.
