Melanoma Research Alliance: Saban Family Foundation-MRA Team Science Award

Multidisciplinary teams of 2 or more PIs to are solicited to propose projects with the potential to lead to transforming advances in prevention, early detection, staging and/or treatment of melanoma. This year particular areas of interest: Novel combination therapies (immunotherapy); Resistance mechanisms to BRAF/MEK combination targeted therapy; Identifying biomarkers predictive of clinical outcomes to treatment regimens; Improving the understanding of the biological basis for melanoma formation. Funding: up to $1M over 2-3 years. Up to 2 teams will be funded. PIs may be from the same or different institutions, may include key personnel outside of Israel and each team must include at least one young investigator from Israel (within 4 years of first academic appointment)
