XPRIZE: Nokia Sensing X-Challenge

Global competition to accelerate the availability of hardware sensors and software sensing technology that individuals use to access, understand, and improve their health and well-being. The sensing technology should represent a faster, cheaper and easier means to get information that has been limited up to now by the capabilities of conventional testing, in one of the following domains: Biosensors; Imaging; Environmental; Kinematics; Behavioral; Physiology. Examples include improved test methods and radical new alternatives to blood testing, heart monitoring and imaging. Prize purses totaling $2.25 million will be awarded. Registration fee is $1,000.
