Aimed at new projects that provide a more complete understanding of cellular plasticity in type 2 diabetes and the potential for its reversibility, which may lead to the development of novel therapies. Projects studying the effect of GLP-1 or DPP4 inhibition on cellular plasticity underlying the recovery of beta cell function will be particularly welcome. Funding: €100,000. Duration of each award may be one year or longer. |
