JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for Foreign Researchers in Japan

Opportunity for young (PhD since 2/4/08) postdoctoral researchers to conduct, under the guidance of their hosts, cooperative research with leading research groups in universities and other Japanese institutions. All fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences are included under this program. Fellowships are for 12 or 24 months and must start during 1/4/14-30/9/14. Funding: a round-trip ticket, a settling-in allowance of $2,000 and monthly allowance of $3,678. Applications for this program are submitted by a host researcher in Japan who wishes to host a foreign postdoctoral fellow.
