The Israel National Transportation Infrastructure Company (NTI) (MA’ATZ) - R&D Proposals

NTI has issued a new tender for diverse R&D subjects that should promote its vision to maintain research and development in the field of roads and paving engineering. The vision includes:

1. Preserving human life

2. Alleviating congestion and improving journey comfort.

3. Improving NTI work processes and methods.

Recommended R&D subjects include:

1. Safety solutions for vulnerable populations and work sites surroundings, dynamic warning systems,

E- SAFETY technology and slippage resistance improvement.

2. Infrastructure quality maintenance and development, including decision making modeling

improvement.

3. Sustainable and environment-friendly technologies for road development.

4. Improving management tools of NTI.

Detailed list of subjects found in the tender (p.24-64). Other subjects that meet NTIs vision may be considered as well. Funding: 3-36 months, depending on the subject.
