- Exploration – Hypothesis Development Award: funds the initial exploration of innovative, untested research and pursue serendipitous observations. Funding: up to $100,000 (in direct costs) over 2 years. - Idea Development Award: encourages high-impact, innovative research that will drive the field of TSC research forward. Funding: up to $425,000 (in direct costs) over 3 years. - Pilot Clinical Trial Award: supports collection of preliminary data to support the rationale and design of subsequent clinical trials; also funds pilot clinical trials, especially observational or feasibility studies.
