DOD-CDMRP: Neurofibromatosis Research Program (NFRP) - Pre-application

- Clinical Trial Award: funds Phase 0, I, or II clinical trials relevant to NF and/or schwannomatosis. Funding: up to $400,000 over 2 years.

- Exploration - Hypothesis Development Award: funds the initial exploration of innovative, untested research and pursuit of serendipitous observations. Funding: up to $100,000 over 2 years.

- Investigator-Initiated Research Award: funds basic and clinically oriented research relevant to NF and/or schwannomatosis. Optional Features: applications that include either a Qualified Collaborator or Postdoctoral Fellow who meet the Program criteria may apply for a higher level of funding. Funding: up to $525,000 over 3 years ($575,000 if requesting an Optional Qualified Collaborator or $675,000 if requesting an Optional Nested Postdoctoral Fellow).

- New Investigator Award: fund investigators in the early stages of their careers or established investigators seeking to transition into a career in NF research. Experience in NF research is allowed, but not required. Funding: up to $400,000 over 2 years.
