Russell Sage Foundation: Project Awards in Basic Social Science - letter of inquiry

The Foundation supports basic social science research within the "announced programs" (see below). The major awards range between $35K - $200K.

-Future of Work - the causes and consequences of changes in the quality of low-wage work in the United States and other advanced economies.

-Research on current U.S. Immigration.

-Cultural Contact - understanding and improving relations between racial and ethnic groups in schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and other key institutional settings.

-Social Inequality - the social effects of rising economic inequality, with particular attention to the U.S.

-Behavioral Economics - which incorporates the insights of psychology and other social sciences into the study of economic behavior.
