National Tay-Sacks & Allied Diseases Association (NTSAD): Request for Proposals

NTSAD is oliciting proposals for innovative research projects that involve basic research,

translational studies or clinical studies in the areas of neurodegenerative disorders affecting

the CNS, especially lysosomal storage disorders and pediatric leukodystrophies (such as Canavan

and Krabbe). Projects may be in such areas as stem cells, molecular chaperones, substrate

inhibitors, small molecule drug screening, gene therapy, novel drug delivery to the brain and

biomarkers (including imaging), as well as exploring other novel therapeutic strategies.

Funding: $50K for 1 year.
