Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS): Translational Research Program

This program is the fast track to finding a better treatment and cure for leukemia, lymphoma

and myeloma. LLS funds new and innovative research that shows high promise for translating

basic biomedical knowledge to clinical application. The goal of translational research is to

reduce the time between laboratory findings and actual treatment. Funding: up to $200K over 3

years. A subcategory of this program is the Quality of Life Research Initiative, whose goal is

to make current therapies less harmful without sacrificing effectiveness, thus making a

diffference in patients' lives. Funding: up to $5M over five years. When you submit your
