Israel-Strategic Alternative Energy Foundation (I-SAEF): Research in Solar Energy and Energy (including electric car batteries and utility scale storage).

The application process has two stages: Pre-Proposals and Full Proposals. The deadline for submission of

pre-proposals is December 16, 2012. In January 2013, the projects deemed most scientifically and

commercially promising will be invited to submit a Full Proposal. Grants may be up to $200,000 and are distributed over two or three years. I-SAEF will select projects that

advance the scientific state-of-the-art and have significant commercial potential. Proposals should

demonstrate a high likelihood of yielding technologies that can progress to commercialization. We

recommend that you consult with your university's technology transfer office to see if your research
