The Environment and Health Fund (EHF): Post Doctoral Fellowships

The Fellowship Program assists young scientists pursue advanced training and research in Environment and Health, develop a broad perspective and an inter-disciplinary approach, and contribute to scientific excellence in this field upon their return to Israel. EHF has 2 calls annually for applications, one with a spring deadline and one with a winter deadline. For this academic year EHF will award up to 4 fellowships at leading departments and institutions in the USA and Europe. Proposed research fields are: Environmental Epidemiology / Environmental Toxicology

Research projects should relate to the impact of environmental hazards and health effects such as: cardiovascular and respiratory disease, autoimmune diseases, cognitive function and development, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer and reproductive health. Funding: $40,000, along with an additional travel grant and family allowance. MDs and PhD graduates are eligible to apply.
