The program aims to strengthen the basic and the clinical research in Diabetes type I and to bring new scientists from other fields into type 1D diabetes research through close collaboration with acknowledged experts in diabetes. One of the program aims is to make possible participation of foreign researchers and to develop skills and technologies that are not currently available in Israel. Funding: 740,000 NIS/year X 3 years including equipment in amount of up to 120,000 NIS. The research should be performed mainly in Israel but up to 35% of the budget may be transferred to foreign participants. |
