Alzheimer's Association: Funding Opportunities - LOI

- New Investigator Research Grants (NIRG) - Letter of Intent. Funds the next generation of promising scientists who have earned their doctoral degrees within the last 10 years. Funding: $100K over up to 2 years (requests in any given year may not exceed $60K).
- New Investigator Research Grant to Promote Diversity (NIRGD) - Letter of Intent. Funds new investigators from diverse backgrounds with intent to support early career development that will lay groundwork for future research grants. Funding: $100K over up to 2 years (requests in any given year may not exceed $60K).
- Mentored New Investigator Research Grant to Promote Diversity (MNIRGD) - Letter of Intent. Funds mentored research conducted by underrepresented researchers who have earned their doctoral degrees within the last 10 years. Funding: $170K; $150K over 3 years will be awarded for costs related to the proposed research (requests in any given year may not exceed $60K). The remaining funds, $10K to the applicant and $10K to the primary mentor, will be awarded upon successful completion of the three-year program. The Principal Investigator must commit to a 50 percent effort toward the proposed project over the funding period.
