Ministry of Transportation: Research Grants

The Ministry is soliciting research proposals for a period of up to 18 months in the following topics:
* Computer image processing for image monitoring in junction with traffic lights - funding: up to 500,000 NIS
* A model for road service assessment - funding: up to 500,000 NIS
* A model for assessment of ITS projects - funding: up to 250,000 NIS
* Other subjects are also eligible if correspond to the Ministry general research program (see page 1 of the CFP) but, these will be funded only if there will not be enough satisfactory proposals in the main 3 topics above - funding: up to 250,000 NIS.
The ministry intends to fund up to 10 projects with a total amount of 2 million NIS. Schedule: Proposers meeting: 3.7; Last day of clarifications requests: 16.7; Application deadline: 12.8
