AHAF: Alzheimer’s Disease Research Grants

- Standard award provides significant funding for researchers who have already generated some amount of preliminary data, but often still require significant progress before they can apply to governmental or industrial funding agencies. Funding: $133,333/yr ($400k total) for maximum 3 years.
 - Pilot awards are designed to take a highly innovative proposal with modest preliminary data and give investigators the opportunity to prove their ideas. These awards are typically described as being ‘high risk – high reward’. They are often given to investigators who need funding to demonstrate the validity of a very focused hypothesis.  Funding: $75,000/yr ($150k total) for maximum 2 years.
- Research Fellowship funding: $50,000/yr ($100k total) for maximum 2 years.
