Request for Proposals reflects goals that both calling for evidence that can inform current discussions about data- based educational reforms and seeking to stimulate new thinking about how to use data in the classroom. We invite proposals for research studies that address the following central question: How do K-8 teachers use student performance data for instructional decisions and how do organizational and individual factors affect that use? (For terms amd detailes see the links).
We plan to support research projects on this topic and anticipate funding projects through awards ranging from $40K to $300K, covering direct and limited indirect costs for up to 3 years of work.
