Ministry of Energy and Water Resources (Tashtyiot): Research Proposals in Energy, Soil and Oceanography

Research grants for 3 years in Energy, Soil and Oceanography. For detailed topics see page 1-2 of the Call.
For the first time it is possible to submit joint research proposals with partners from the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Union in the following subjects: Mobility and SG Interoperability / Smart grids / Energy efficiency / Solar devices testing facilities / Emission Characterization of Alternative fuels (biofuels, GTL, LPG, methanol blends…etc.). Funding: Proposals in Soil and Oceanography fields are limited to 55,000 NIS/year. Higher amounts may be requested only with a special justified request. Proposals in the field of Energy are not limited. Average of past budgets was ~155,000 NIS/year. There is no indication yet on the JRC funding amounts.
* In addition to the usual evaluation criteria, up to 20% will be added for collaboration with industry or with other academic institutions in Israel or abroad. Additional evaluation points will be added for focal topics issued by the Ministry(AMOT MIDA, page.4)
