AACR: SU2C-PCF Prostate Dream Team Translational Cancer Research Grant - Letter of Intent

To maximize creativity, innovation and collaboration, the Dream Team must include laboratory and clinical researchers, senior and/or young investigators, and senior scientists who have not worked together in the past. Each team will consist of a Dream Team leader, a Dream Team co-leader (optional), no more than six Dream Team principals (including leaders), and at least two advocates. No Dream Team will have more than one Dream Team leader or principal from any given institution at the time of their initial appointment on the team. No more than two leaders or principals may be from affiliated institutions. There are no citizenship or residency status restrictions. Research projects are restricted to translational cancer research focused on near-term patient benefit. Proposed ideas must address therapeutic interventions for advanced prostate cancer, with special emphasis on metastatic disease. The ideas should be based on perceived opportunities for success as well as high-priority areas with a critical need for rapid progress beyond current medical care. The SU2C-PCF Prostate Cancer Dream Team will be awarded up to $10 million over the 3-year term of the grant.
