ISF - Israeli Centers for Research Excellence (I-CORE) Second Wave, 2012/2013

A “Center of excellence” is defined as an association of outstanding researchers in a specific research field, which aims to promote a thorough, innovative and groundbreaking research in this field. The 2012/2013 wave will cover the following 2 categories:
1. Life sciences and Arts; Social Sciences, Education, Law and Business Administration
2. Exact Sciences and Engineering; Life Sciences and Medicine
Each category features a multitutde of possible research subjects, a full description can be found here . Up to 30 centers will be established within the 2012-2016 timeframe. Funding: An average of NIS 45M over a 5-year period per center.
