DOD-CDMRP: Basic/Applied Psychological Health Award - Pre-Proposal

Supports basic and/or applied research (including early phase clinical trials) focused on the psychological health and well-being of military personnel and their families. Applications must address one or more of the following task areas:
- Suicide Prevention;
- Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders;
- Diagnosis and Treatment of Deployment-Related Psychological Health Problems and Health Risk Behaviors;
- Warfighter Psychological Resilience; and
- Military Family and Community Health and Resilience.
Preliminary data are required for applied research applications. Funding: for basic science - $1M over 4 years; for applied science award - $4M over 4 years. Early phase I clinical trials allowed, but NOT advanced development, or late phase II largescale effectiveness clinical trials.
