Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. Anticipated Individual Awards: Multiple awards are anticipated in Technical Area 1 and single awards for Technical Areas 2 and 3. Total Funding Available for Award: The SMISC research effort under this solicitation is estimated at $42M of 6.1 funding over a period of 3 years. |
