Research grants for 3 years in Energy, Soil and Oceanography. The detailed solicited topics are available on page 1-2 of the Call. Funding: Proposals in Soil and Oceanography fields are limited to 50,000 NIS/year. Higher budgets require special justified request. Proposals in the field of Energy are not limited. Average of past annual budgets was ~155,000 NIS.
* Besides the usual evaluation criteria, up to 20% will be added for collaboration with industry or with other academic institutions in Israel or abroad (AMOT MIDA, page.3)

* Pay attention: The Technion, along with other universities oppose to new contractual requirements imposed in this new tender. We demanded revision of these requirements and depending on satisfactory response, there is a possibility that the academic institutions will not participate in the present call. We will update on this.
