Society for Neuroscience (SFN) - Outstanding Research and Career Achievements Awards

* Julius Axelrod Prize is to be awarded to a scientist with distinguished achievements in the broad field of neuropharmacology (or a related area) and exemplary efforts in mentoring young scientists. Amount: $25,000.
* Ralph W. Gerard Prize in Neuroscience: $25,000 presented to an outstanding scientist who has made significant contributions to neuroscience throughout his or her career.
* The Swartz Prize in amount of $25,000 is presented annually to an individual whose activities have produced a significant cumulative contribution or a particularly noteworthy advance to theoretical models or computational methods in neuroscience.
