European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Award

The prestigious ESMO Award was established to annually recognize an ESMO member who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of oncology in Europe and who recognizes the importance of promoting oncology as a specialty within the international community. The winner of the ESMO Award will be presented during the 16th ECCO – 36th ESMO, Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress Stockholm, Sweden - 23-27 September 2011. The award consists of a Flower of Hope, certificate, free registration, free accommodation and reimbursement of travel expenses to the Stockholm Congress. Eligibility criteria: Must be an ESMO Member; Candidates must be oncologists who have made a long-term impact in the field throughout their careers.
