Integration | Manufacturing | Microsystems | Thermal | Seeks innovative proposals towards the development of sensor microelectronics consisting of transducers, signal-conditioning microelectronics, and integration that operate at extreme temperatures (i.e., at least 800 °C). Performance will be validated with the specific demonstration of a pressure sensor module consisting of integrated transducer and signal-conditioning microelectronics. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. Funding: $250,000 per awardee over the duration of the award. |
