Intended for early career scientists (received their first faculty-level appointment < 3 years before 06 Jul) which will focus their research efforts on a subject directly related to JDRF mission goals and JDRF Research Strategy, and position themselves to work at the leading edge of type 1 diabetes research. Although JDRF is especially interested in fostering careers in clinical investigation these awards may emphasize either basic or clinical topics. Important: Applications in the area of LONG-TERM COMPLICATIONS will not be accepted. Applications in Psychosocial and Behavioral Health will be accepted. Funding: up to $200K/year for 5 years. |
