Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) - Funding Opportunities

Various funding opportunities:

Research Professorships Grants: designed to provide flexible funding to a senior researcher who has already made outstanding contributions to basic, translational, or clinical cancer research.

Funding: $100,000/year, for up to 5 years.

Acceleration Grants: Grant applications responding to this call must propose highly-innovative approaches that have the promise of pioneering new ways of thinking about cancer biology and therapeutics. Preliminary data are not a prerequisite, but applicants are encouraged to provide data from disparate sources to support the rationale upon which the new concepts are derived.  Funding: $70,000/ year for 2 years.

Clinical Research Career Development Awards (CRCDAs): To enhance the clinical research capabilities of young scientists. Funding: at a stipend of $45,000/year for 3 years.

Research Career Development Awards (RCDAs): To enhance the research capabilities of young scientists, with at least 3 years of postdoctoral fellowship and within 5 years of their 1st academic appointment. Funding: $45,000/year for 3 years.

Project grants: Intended to support the research of established investigators
Funding: $60,000/year for 3 years.
