Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF): Research in Sustainable Solid Waste Management – Pre-proposals

Proposals related to sustainable solid waste management practices, including: Waste minimization, Recycling, Waste conversion to energy, biofuels, chemicals, Strategies to promote diversion to higher and better uses, Landfilling. Desirable aspects of the above topics, in addition to or as part of hypothesis driven applied research, including: economic or cost/benefit analyses, feasibility studies, life cycle analysis or inventory, and policies analyses.

Funding: $15K to $500K (average - $160K). Typical project duration is 2 years.
